Common questions on purchasing vehicles

You will receive all vehicles details, its location (first two digits of the post code), description of damage, optional extras and pictures that the advertiser sent us.

From the time of notification the buyer has one week to collect the vehicle.

Unless the vehicle has been designated for sale through an auction("AK"), a query for the currently highest bid is not possible. For objects sold through auction, the currently highest bid is shown in the column "Highest bid". With any other objects the highest bid cannot be checked until after expiry of the bid deadline. The highest bid is shown in the archives after expiry of the bid deadline, provided the buyer has submitted a bid for it.

Experts and insurance companies actually auction off available vehicles here, in line with the usual auction rules used for example by eBay. These vehicles are marked with the abbreviation "AK" in the object type column.

Vehicles that are advertised by private individuals. These vehicles are marked with the abbreviation "PM" in the object type column. Please bear in mind when submitting bids that private individuals do not have all the subject know-how of automotive experts when describing their vehicles.
