Buyer Network Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Buyer Network Manager is responsible for locating, signing and supporting our network of qualified buyers. In addition to your sales and marketing activities, you will work closely with our local and International Customer Service Team to ensure the buyer’s ongoing satisfaction with AUTOonline. Along with this unique challenge, we offer higher than average, goal-oriented compensation and additional carrier opportunities.

External:          All levels of personnel within the recycler, insurance, dealership and autobody shop marketplace and their associations.

Internal:           All levels of AUTOonline’s international Executive Management

 

PRIMARY & SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Buyer Network Manager’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining a large network of qualified buyers
  • Locating, qualifying and coordinating the approval of buyers to participate in our network.
  • Establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with local and state buyer (recycler, dealer etc.) associations
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to AUTOonline’s management to ensure our ongoing, market leadership position
  • Working closely with our Customer service team to resolve buyer / seller disputes
  • Becoming familiar with, and stay current on all local rules and regulations for the marketing, titling and sale of motor vehicles.
  • Working with management to create pricing strategies that support our growth
  • Collaborating with our International Office and provide local market perspective on the development and refinement of our applications and services.
  • Representing AUTOonline at industry events as needed

 

PERSONAL TRAITS  

Able to “get up to speed” quickly, gain credibility and influence within the AUTOonline network of buyers. Strong problem solving and organizational skills and will use creativity, intelligence and communication to drive the organizational goals and objectives. Able to work mostly on own, in an unstructured environment. Possess “hands-on” skills with the ability to understand where AUTOonline solutions generate value to our customers and where this value can be increased. Able to collaborate with team members located in other cities, states, time zones and countries. Expertise in a variety of industry related practices and procedures. Relies on this experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 

 

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • A professional industry presence providing the ability to command the attention and establish AUTOonline’s credibility within our industry
  • A background of working collaboratively with others to make improvement recommendations relating to technologies and process.
  • Familiarity with the local repair, dismantler and rebuilder market, buyers and competitors
  • Superior written and oral communication skills. Strong motivational, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • At least 5 years experience in salvage, total loss, collision repair, auto recycling or automobile collision claims.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business is not mandatory, but a plus
  • Spanish fluency is not mandatory, but a plus

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Self-starting, effective, and efficient with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Travel schedules will dictate operating schedules that are significantly different from normal office hours.
  • Must be able to travel at least 75%
  • Must be able to carry twenty-five pounds of computer equipment
