Customer Service Representative (CSR)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customers Representative is responsible for:

  • The overall support and satisfaction of the users of the AUTOonline system.
  • Managing inbound phone calls and responding to customer questions.
  • Resolving buyer / seller issues.
  • Screening and setting up new users of the system.
  • The CSR processes DMV motor vehicle title paperwork, liens and salvage certificates for our clients...

CONTACTS

External:          All levels of personnel within the recycler, insurance, dealership and autobody shop marketplace and their associations.

Internal:           All levels of AUTOonline’s international Executive Management

 

 

PRIMARY & SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing DMV title and other paperwork as required by various states
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving customer issues using the AUTOonline system
  • Working closely with our field personnel and International Customer service team to resolve buyer / seller disputes
  • Setting up new AUTOonline users (receiving applications, creating ID’s, screening etc.)
  • Providing prospective customers with product and service information as requested by telephone, email and fax
  • Entering user and motor vehicle data into AUTOonline’s databases
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to AUTOonline’s management and International Office to ensure our ongoing, market leadership position
  • Transferring inbound calls to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Detailed understanding of various Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) title transfer regulations and processes
  • Able to work mostly on own, in a changing environment with little supervision
  • Able to collaborate with team members located in other cities, states, time zones and countries.
  • In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office-applications
  • A background collaborating with others to make recommendations relating to AUTOonline’s technologies and process.
  • Superior written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the salvage, total loss, collision repair, auto recycling or automobile collision claims industry(s) preferred
  • Spanish fluency is not mandatory, but a plus

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Self-starting, effective, and efficient with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Travel schedules will dictate operating schedules that are significantly different from normal office hours.
  • Must be able to travel 5%
  • Must be able to carry twenty-five pounds of computer equipment
